Dodocoins: earn and spend them with ease

Dodocoins are the in-app currency and cashback rewards in the Dodo Pizza loyalty program. For every order, customers receive a percentage back in the form of Dodocoins. These rewards can then be redeemed for specific items: drinks, desserts, appetizers, and pizzas of various sizes — the selection is made within the app, not at the register.

Another way to earn bonuses is to complete personal challenges in the app, either on your own or with friends. We don’t ask customers to buy anything to complete a quest, because that’s a sale, not entertainment. Our tasks are lively and interesting — for example, «Think of 10 movies that featured pizza. Write down their titles» — so customers play more often, which means they engage more with the brand.

Dodocoins cannot be used in the usual way as a discount—they can only be used to purchase specific items at full price. This:

• on the one hand, gives bonuses greater value in the eyes of the customer, since they receive a specific product in exchange for them, rather than a faceless reduction in the payment amount,
• and on the other hand, motivates them to buy more often, since they can’t redeem bonuses for small items.
